High Desert 100 - May 2024

For this race, we traveled about 10 hours, each way to Powell, Wyoming. 

We were excited to get on the course, after health issues in our previous race. We hit the track, feeling great! No sickness! Qualifying went well, and Austin & Christian were excited for race day.  

Unfortunately, on the third lap our race car experienced catastrophic frame failure caused by unseen damage and cracks.  We were extremely fortunate that it happened going into a slower speed corner and not on a high speed straight. With the help of several other race teams (CW racing, Williams Racing, & more) we were able to get the car onto our trailer and haul it back to Colorado. To say that it was a LONG, and SAD drive home would be an understate.  This was DEVISTATING. Sadly, the cost to fix the damage far exceeded what it would be worth in the long run- so we parted out what we could.... and purchased our Rzr Turbo S- because as they say "we haven't come this far just to come this far!" The dream lives on!
